Terms of Service

1. Service

Shiplog ("the Service") is a software-as-a-service product operated by Sunnstech that generates changelogs from GitHub commit history. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You may not share your account.

3. Plans and Billing

The Service offers a free tier and a Pro tier ($9/month). Subscriptions are billed monthly through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent rate limits, or abuse the Service in a way that degrades performance for others.

5. Data and Privacy

Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your changelogs and commit data. You may delete your account at any time, which permanently removes all associated data.

6. GitHub Integration

The Service accesses GitHub repositories and commit data you authorize. Commit data is fetched directly from GitHub's API and is not stored permanently — it is cached briefly (5 minutes) to improve performance and then discarded.

7. Uptime and Availability

We aim for high availability but make no SLA guarantee. The Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sunnstech's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms with notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced by email.
